Hi I'm Nikki, a commercial photographer based just outside London in Colchester where I share a photographic studio. With years of experience in the commercial industry it's been essential to learn quickly how to develop branding, marketing, social media management and the ultimate content creation.

I work with clients who have ideas for promoting their products, services or sometimes themselves, which I convert into tangible content.

Another recent collaboration with Graham Cann and The Glass Factory Studio is where we are planning analogue film studio sessions and darkroom workshops.

Weddings really are a fabulous occasion, particularly for the bride and groom, no matter how big or small the numbers attending.

Capturing the important moments in time that you want to hang on to forever, moments that catch the atmosphere and essence of a couple's special day is what I try my very best to accomplish.

It's all about the details, fleeting seconds caught off-guard that show connection and commitment, eye-contact, signals and body language.

I believe a portrait or headshot that captures likeness, character and personality is not simply a record of someone's appearance, it must be the best it can be, no less. If you wish to project an impression of professionalism, beauty, approachability or even impartiality ~ whatever the intention, it needs to be translated via the camera and photographer to produce a resulting image reflecting that idea.

To accomplish this I make it my mission to build a rapport with the person sitting in the spotlight, to find an understanding and bring a sense of ease to keep the process as painless as possible. Most people find a portrait a little awkward as it is not something most of us do everyday, I will always try to direct in a way that ensure's everything is much more comfortable.

As well as the personable touch, I ensure technicalities of lighting and camerawork remain seamless while ensuring we capture the high quality photographs expected suitable for use in publications, website or social media.
